A brow and forehead lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure designed to elevate sagging eyebrows, smooth forehead wrinkles, and restore a more youthful, refreshed facial expression. Over time, aging, gravity, and repetitive facial movements can cause the brows to droop and deep lines to form across the forehead, leading to a tired or even angry appearance.

The surgery is typically performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation. Small incisions are usually made within the hairline or scalp to minimize visible scarring. Endoscopic techniques use a small camera and specialized instruments, allowing for smaller incisions and faster recovery.

I lived in Antalya in the first, middle and high school years. In 1990 I started Marmara University Faculty of Medicine (English). In 1997, as a result of the Specialization Examination, I started to work as a specialist in the Haseki Training and Research Hospital ENT Clinic and became an expert in ENT and Head and Neck Diseases in 2001. I have worked many times in the training of many specialist students at Haseki Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul Training and Research Hospital and Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital. I got the title of Associate Professor in 2011. I was employed in Bağcılar Training and Research Hospital ENT clinic as educational officer and training officer.
I am still working as a lecturer at İstanbul Gelişim University.
Throughout my academic career, I have published more than 40 foreign research articles and over 20 domestic research articles in a variety of different contexts. In addition, I have been working in 10 different animal studies.
Associate Professor Ümit Taşkın who has the certificates of Turkish ENT Qualification Board and European Board has focused on Nose Aesthetics and Facial Aesthetics together with ISTANBUL AESTHETIC company which was established in 2007 and has provided numerous domestic and international seminars, congresses, by participating in workshops, he has always developed and updated himself on this field.
In the year of 2016, he has also been active in the OTRILA clinic to provide services in aesthetics and ENT.
He has memberships in the Turkish ENT Head and Neck Association, Facial Aesthetic Association, Turkish Society of Rhinology and American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery.
